Research & Teaching

Throughout my professional career, I have been involved in researching various aspects of relationships and sexual functioning. I also have played an active role in teaching/supervising medical students, psychiatry residents, and psychology post-doctoral fellows about sexual dysfunction, and I continue to teach with the UW Medical School.

Research Experience

• Principal Investigator on studies of depression and sexual arousal

• Principal Investigator on studies of prevention of dating violence

• Principal Investigator on studies of commitment in violent dating relationships

• Co-investigator on studies of Female Sexual Arousal Disorder (FSAD)

• Co-investigator on studies of Male Erectile Dysfunction

• Study therapist on FSAD studies for various pharmaceutical companies

Teaching

• Clinical Assistant Professor at UW Medical School, Department of Psychiatry

• Teach medical students about sexual dysfunction

• Supervision of residents/fellows in area of sexual dysfunction
